Okay, okay, so I guess my little blog here is in high demand (hiya, Mrs. H, you know who you are :). Well, this week has been pretty hectic; new job, getting Ryan ready to start school, and still all the house and mom stuff. I will say, my wonderful hubby has helped A TON this week. Even though Monday and Wednesday nights I started dinner before I went to work in the crock pot, he put the final touches on everything. And Tuesday night he cooked out on the grill. Tonight is pizza night, but we haven't ordered yet as the guys are out mowing the yard. Thankfully, next week will be more of a normal schedule (7am-3pm instead of 11am-7pm).
But, more changes are in store for our little Bosley! Ryan is going to spend 9 days at his .... um.... what I like to refer to as his sperm doaner's house (in other words, my ex husband). And Bosley will be home on his own during the week. This will determine whether or not we will need to add yet another baby gate to our collection. If needed, Bosley will be cordened off to the kitchen, laundry room, downstairs hall and bathroom. All but the hall being porciline tile, and easy to clean up if messes occur.
He is getting so big! I would say he's up to about 12 or 13 pounds now. And his feathers are coming in nicely. Oh, except for where the groomer shaved them off his feet! Needless to say, I was very upset over that one. I told them it was okay to trim between the pads of his feet ONLY, and when we got him home, I realized his feet were VERY short! I haven't decided whether or not I'll be taking him back to Pet Smart or not. The shampoo they use smells SOOOOOOO good. And they do a really good job on his nails, they just need to learn to leave his feathers alone!
On a personal note, I have a very good friend that lives in Norway, and I had a very nice conversation with her this morning before I went to work. She's like 7 hours ahead of me there, so when I get home from work, it's like 2 am there. So we have a hard time getting our schedules to mesh. But with me working late hours this week, we had a perfect opportunity!
Well, the guys are done mowing the yard, so I'd better get off here and order pizza. Thursday night, don't ya know! It's a tradition started by watching Survivor on Thursday nights and not wanting to cook while it's on, LOL! Usually, we do take and bake, but I am NOT cooking this late. Ordering in is so much simpler :)
Cavalier Hugs to all! ~
