What a hectic week, and it's only Tuesday! After almost 8 years of working part time and/or staying home with Ryan, I forgot what it's like to work a 40+ hour work week! I have no idea how Ed's daughter worked a full-time job, a part-time job, was a full-time student and had a 7 year old! Chrysta, if you ever read this, my hat's off to you, girl! I'm having a H. E. double hocky sticks of a time just trying to find time to go to the grocery and do laundry, LOL!

Ok, this one is short and sweet :) I made a ham steak for Ed and I for breakfast, and Bosley got the bone. He has been gnawing on this thing for like 2 hours now, LOL! They sell like whole ham bones (like you would get in a spiral ham for Thanksgiving) at the pet store. I'm thinking we ought to get him one, he's having such a time with this one :P I mean, he's all sprawled out on the footstool, most of the time over Ed's leg, just gnawing away! Eyes closed and everything! I jus

Okay, okay, so I guess my little blog here is in high demand (hiya, Mrs. H, you know who you are :). Well, this week has been pretty hectic; new job, getting Ryan ready to start school, and still all the house and mom stuff. I will say, my wonderful hubby has helped A TON this week. Even though Monday and Wednesday nights I started dinner before I went to work in the crock pot, he put the final touches on everything. And Tuesday night he cooked out on the grill. Tonight is pizz

Hiya, everyone! I know it's been a few days, so as I don't have to go in to work until later, I thought I'd wright a bit :)
Bosley is doing wonderfully! Potty training seems to be getting easier. I don't know if it's because we know his habbits now, or what, but we seem to be having fewer and fewer accidents.
I think our little baby is getting more independant, also. Since we let him have run of the house (with the excep

Hiya, everyone! As you can probably tell, I'm on cloud nine today :) I got the job I put in for! I'll be on a temp to hire basis for my 90-day probation period, then the company will hire me full time! I'm soooo excited. I just hope I catch on quick; there seems like there's alot to learn. But, I don't want to bore you with all the details :P
I discovered a little quirck in my little furry bundle of joy last night. I was headed downstairs after taki

Hiya, everyone! My goodness what a day! After an extremely slow week at work last week (I only got in 4 1/2 hours) to a full time job offer first thing this morning! I've been working at a tire factory as a temp doing data entry for what will be 3 years come October. They have offered me full time positions before, but Ryan was always too young to walk home from the bus on his own. Now, one of the positions they had asked me to fill has re-opened, and even the girl that's leavi

Hiya, everyone! I haven't had a lot of time lately, so as I have the day off today, I thought I'd come on here and play catch up :)
Bosley went to the vet last Friday for his next round of shots, monthly worming preventative, and just a general well puppy check up. Can you believe he's up to 11 lbs 6 oz ?!? He's just growing SO fast! Of course, he's still the charmer when meeting new people. All the vet techs and doctors at the animal hospital absol

Not much going on in the Bosley household this week for a change :) Ed has some family in from Arizona, and we went out to dinner with them last night. I, of course, made sure I had some really really good pics of Bosley on my phone to show off, LOL! Both of his aunts that were there are "dog people", and they just adored him.
OH, OH!!!! I gave him my first puppy bath yesterday afternoon! OMG, YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN IT!!!!! I was just as wet as he was

Shhhhhhh........listen.........the only noise in the entire house is the show Ed is watching on T.V. No yelling, laughing, screaming, squeaking teenagers......No blaring T.V. while we're trying to visit........And it's only 7:15 in the evening and we already have our P.J.'s on :P
I'm kidding (but serious a little). We had a wonderful weekend with my little sister. The plan was to pick her up and bring her home with us, while my dad and his w

Happy Saturday morning all! I thought I'd check in real quick before we start our day :) So, Thursday afternoon at about 3:30, my step mom calls and says they are about three hours out. Out the door we go, because it's about a three hour drive from here to Davenport where we were going to meet them to pick up my little sis. We get to the restaurant we had already planned on meeting at, and the entire time we're eating Kim (my step mom) and I are trying to talk my dad into just

Good morning all! Well, the day is finally here; we are meeting my dad and his crew in Davenport, IA tonight! It's been since Ryan was 3 months old that I've seen them, and my husband has never met them. I'm anxious to see what my little sister, Abby, looks like, she was only about a year old when I last saw her (yes, my stepmother is the same age as me :>). My dad and his wife are going to go on to his brother's house up by the Minnesota border, and Abby is going to spend t

Sorry, I got cut short earlier. Dinner was ready, and with Ed working nights, I wanted to spend some quality time around the table with my guys, LOL! Of course, now that's plus one. We have a counter height table with two shelves underneath it. Nala, the cat, lays on the top shelf, and now Bosley lays on the bottom shelf right by my feet :P Crazy puppy!
I told Ed tonight I'm ready for another one.....or two.....or three! He said "Three?!? Why three?

Day 2 of no central air, and I'm really tired of it! It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so humid. Bosley is faring better than the humans, I think. His favorite treat is ice cubes right out of the dispenser on the fridge, LOL! Any time he hears it going, he thinks he needs one. Ed put some in his water bowl the other day, and you should have seen Bosley! He didn't know what to do! There were like ten of his favorite thing in the whole world floating around in his water,

Evening all! We're counting down the days until my dad and the rest of his crew get here. We're all running around trying to get everything done that needs done, and poor Bosley doesn't know what's going on! He lay on the floor by us while we sat at the table for dinner, and he never does that. He's usually either asleep in his kennel or on the couch when we eat. I think he missed us, even though we were here, we were just busy.
I've been reading up
