I have the litter sister to my almost finished at 16 months Black and Tan Male. They are CKCS and AKC Ch. Pascavale Stanley kids. We will be starting to show her soon. She looked like a long legged smooth dachsund for a long time. LOL. She is finally coming around, growing coat, head broadening. We will be breeding her to a top champion in the fall. All her tests will be done and she will be over 2 years old. If you haven't found anything by then, keep in touch.
Me too! (Looking for a show prospect wholecolor bitch puppy). Thanks for the compliment on my boy! I don't know many CA folks personally, but Marilyn Mayfield's ruby bitch who took reserve at the CKCSCSC specialty looks beautiful. If I were out in CA I'd be standing in line for one of her pups. :-) Courtney Carter, in PA, imported (now AKC CH) Dortmund Take a Chance Harana, a beautiful BT boy. You might get in touch with her to see where his litters are.

Nice to know I was of some help along the way! Stud fees can be all over the map in price, and a real hard one to judge. Most Champion males will come at a cost of approx. $1500.00, maybe a bit more or less. The stud owner might require A.I. only and if so you would have to cover the cost for the collection and A.I.
It sounds like you are also health testing and making sure the stud dog is health tested as well, good going there. How is you little girl doing in the show ring??? Would love to see pictures of your kids and learn more about what has happend since we last met.
Hope this bit of information helps,
Peggy
A million years ago when I was getting my first cavalier you were very helpful. I am now living in Arizona and have 4 cavaliers! I have been showing and breeding my one bitch, and all my breedings have been with the breeder where I obtained her. I am going to breed her to a real nice Ruby ( I have wanted a ruby forever). I am looking for "outside and objective" information and was hoping you would be willing to give me some information. (The pedigree is fabulous, and all his health testing is done by the way). He has only 1 point so far, and has successfully produced a litter or two. If this were your boy, what would you charge for a stud fee?
Thanking you in advance,
shelly
