I found a shampoo at the dog shows called Crystal White that is all natural enzyme that works only on protein stains, it works wonderfully for party colors, brightens white and chestnut colors, and does not bleach. The also have a Crystal Black & Crystal Red for Black & Tans and Rubys. Their Hot Line is 800-777-5899 made by E-Z Groom, it leaves a very pleasant scent not perfumy. Also you should always condition the coat afterwards with a pet friendly conditioner, I bathe my dogs every 9 or 10 days.
I really like their conditioners also, don't use people shamoo's they strip too much oil from the coat. I also love Mane n Tail products, they are easier to find locally, mostly at your Farm Stores, they have the best selections, they put out a product called SHOW COAT that is a conditioner and it repells dirt, great for doggies that love to play hard.

I use dog grooming wipes on my Cavvie, but only when i really need to. When she was younger and had a few accidents in the house, i would use them on her bum to clean her up, so yeah they're perfectly safe for that. Your dog cleans themselves and their coat quite effectively on their own too, but if my dog has dirty paws or something and doesn't require bathing, I'll use them on her paws to clean her up. Some people use them to give their dog a shiny coat and you can get ones that are safe for wiping eyes if they're gunky etc., so I'd have a look in your local pet shop to get ones that suit your dogs needs.
